It all started with a blueberry.
When Prue Linehan became a mum, she quickly discovered something every parent learns: kids are very good at staining their clothes.
Her son Townes loved food. Blueberries in particular. His clothes were constantly covered in stains, and Prue found herself throwing away perfectly good garments simply because they no longer looked wearable.
She wanted a better option.
But everything she found involved sewing, ironing, scrubbing or more time and effort than a busy parent realistically had. So, from her apartment in Greenpoint, Brooklyn, she started experimenting.
For three years, Prue tested fabrics, adhesives and designs, making patch samples and putting them on her son's actual clothes before heading to the laundromat to see what would stick. Eventually, one did.
That became Sticker Patches.
A new way to keep clothes in use
Sticker Patches are peel-and-stick fabric patches designed to make renewing kids' clothes as easy as buying something new.
No sewing. No ironing. Just peel, stick, press firm and it's ready to wear. And, they're washable.
They can cover stains, refresh old favorites and add personality to clothes that might otherwise be left unworn.
They’re designed for the reality of modern family life: when you want to keep something, but don't necessarily have the time, skills or energy for traditional repair.
Because sometimes the easiest thing to do is buy something new.
We want to change that.
The bigger idea
New New Patch is about more than patches.
We believe the next generation of fashion innovation isn't only about producing better clothes. It's also about finding better ways to keep the enormous wardrobes we've already produced in circulation.
Every garment represents materials, energy, labor and resources that have already been invested. A stain or change in trends shouldn't automatically be the end of its story.
Our mission is to make keeping what we already own as easy and appealing as buying something new.
That means making repair, renewal, personalization, and upcyling more convenient, creative and accessible for everyday families.
Built in Brooklyn, made to go further
New New Patch was born in Greenpoint, Brooklyn, where Prue has lived with her family for nearly a decade.
What started as a solution for one mum and one blueberry-stained T-shirt has grown into a product used by families beyond Brooklyn and a bigger idea about how we think about clothing.
We launched New New Patch in the US in 2026 and are expanding to Australia later this year, with ambitions to bring Sticker Patches to families around the world.
Because we don't think the future of fashion is only about buying better.
We think it's also about seeing more value in what we already own and making it easier to keep it.
